rural charm

Winter is fast approaching in New Zealand.  For the second morning now, we woke up with frost on the ground and for the first time, the girls slept with electric blankets.  They were rather worried at the idea at first, but the warmth was more comforting than the thought in the end!
We left the Bay of Plenty and headed towards Rotorua to see the geysers and stayed at the most adorable cottage at the Apple House Farmstay.

Bay of Plenty - pizza by the beach, collecting and sorting out shells

Rotorua - bubbling mud and thermal pools, shooting geysers

  2. Thank you guys for sharing. It looks a far cry from KL, yet you all seem so "at home" in your fleeces and hats!
